Steve Collier worked in machine shops since 1976. Graduated from Texas A&M University in 1981 with a BS in Industrial Technology. Managed shops for 5 years, then started C&F Tool & Die Co. in his garage. Within one month, had so much work he had to rent a space on Eckhert Road. This was the first bay, and now we own 2 buildings housing the shop.
CFO and Principal Buyer
Robert Collier graduated from Baylor University in 1981 with a BBA in Finance. Worked in the banking industry for 5 years. Robert joined Steve at C & F in 1987. His financial expertise helped C&F grow to be financially secure.
Jason Collier graduated Texas State Technical Institute with a specialization in Machine Shop. Has worked at C&F for over 15 years.
Terri Collier graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1978 with a BS in Elementary Education. Worked in Education for 5 years as a teacher and 8 years as development director. Employed at C&F since 1998.
Accounting/ Human Resources
Linda Cavalier handles all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and supports C&F management and staff in the daily operation of the business. Employed at C&F since 2009.
As Program Manager, Don Charlet is the first Point of Contact for our customers. He attended New Mexico State University, studying Mechanical Engineering. Don has spent over 20 years in the CNC machine industry, serving in various capacities, including machinist, lead man, programming, and engineering.
Quality Assurance Manager
Chris Thomas joined the C&F team as the Quality Assurance Manager in 2017. He is responsible for maintaining our ISO 9001:2000, AS9100 Quality Management System, training and safety programs. Promoting continuous improvement and upholding quality standards, Chris works closely with our customers’ quality and engineering departments to increase productivity and quickly resolve any quality issues that may arise. Chris is an Airframe & Powerplant Certificate holder with over 35 years of Aerospace experience, ranging from heavy aircraft overhaul maintenance to VIP aircraft interior completion inspection supervisor and manager.
Daniel Hale began working in the manufacturing industry in 2010. He worked his way up from custodian to lead man in the CNC department. Daniel worked as CNC machinist for a year at C&F before moving into Production Control and Outside Process Buyer.
Robert Francisco analyzes all customer job requirements and determines the most expedient and cost-effective manner to run a job. He plans and communicates these requirements to the shop to meet customer needs.
